Seeing this site allowed me to discover the true
strength of real people living their lives to the fullest. Each
miracle told on this site is just another eye-opener to all its
fortunate readers. You've got a life to live. Set your dreams,
and you can change the world. A seed may be small, but it can grow
into something with unlimited possibilities. Thank you.
Tolu Babarinde, Lagos, Nigeria
I saw 2 of your videos on CNN (Cafeteria and Taxi)
during my lunch break here in Lagos, Nigeria and I made sure I copied
your URL and the first thing I did after getting back to the office
was to check your website. Those videos really moved me and has
strengthened my resolve to be better and better person each day! God
Bless!
Uche, London, UK
Good Day Sir, I’m very happy to have you
[your website] as my mentor to inspire me in all the aspects of life.
Thanks
Ed O., Syosset, NY
My wife and I just saw for the first time your
Good Stuff TV spot. Wonderful. We have been married 40 years (this
past July) and the message of the barkeeper is so true—not
always easy, and not always the best—but it ends up Good Stuff
if you give it the effort and hang in there. Just like the young lad
went home to his wife! Bravo.
Teresa, USA
What an amazing concept - and long overdue. If we
can find it within ourselves, this has the power to change the
world...one human at a time. Every day we are inundated by visions of
humans at their worst. This provides the much needed balance to see
humans at their best.
Dave Miller, Utah
I have been using your “campaign reel
DVD” as part of my student body officer leadership class for the
past year. It is a terrific resource. We are a large high school with
over 100 faculty members who each have an advisory class. I have been
using the DVD in that context as well. We cannot thank you enough for
this great DVD!
Rachel S., California
My name is Rachel, I’m 18 years old, and
I’m a freshman in college and I first just want to say that I
think this is brilliant and so desperately needed in our world today.
I was wondering if there are any ways I can get involved in the
program because I would love to work with you all to help promote
these ideas and pass it on especially in a college. PLEASE let me know
if there is ANYTHING I can do to help. Thanks!!
Luana D.R., Canada
Your ads are fantastic. In today's world
people are too busy to take time to breath, smile and be polite to
themselves…never mind to think about someone else who might
really need a helping hand, a kind word, or a hug. Thank you for
reminding us to do these things.
David H., New City, New York
“Crosswalk” really hits home for me as
a skater from New York. It is an interesting concept well displayed
with the little time given.
Norman, Nairobi, Kenya
The world always brings us lots of angels in
different ways. Ours is to recognize when we are touched by one and be
thankful for the beauty in humanity. Thanks for sharing!
Scott C., New Castle, Indiana
I saw the Lincoln billboard just east of town, and
I immediately went into “sappy guy mode” with the lump in
my throat and watering eyes and all. I even took my little girl by it
so she could see it herself. Lincoln never gave up, and he sacrificed
ALL just to make life better for us all. Thank you SO much.
A.B., Wisconsin
I know a 13 year old boy who just had a leg
amputation. This sign (Overcoming) was printed off and hung in his
hospital room. I truly believe this sign has been very inspirational
for him as he is an athlete. It's amazing how signs such as these
can touch someone’s heart in such powerful ways.
Carlos Puerta, Venezuela
Dear friends, I wanted to write you a few short
lines to thank you for the work you are rolling out to contribute to
the search of a better life for the inhabitants of this planet. We are
a local TV station in Venezuela and would love to help get your
messages out by broadcasting your spots as a public service. Thank you
for your noble and admirable work.
Mr. Chavez, Tegucigalpa, Honduras
I teach virtues to elementary students and you are
an inspiration for us!
Alberto Moreno, Mexico
I really identify with the messages that you are
distributing. In all honesty, if there is something that needs
rescuing, it is human values. I think this is especially true for
future generations—the ones we are leaving behind—to make
sure they have a better life. Your TV spots are so important.
Unfortunately we can’t watch TV all day to see them, but I would
like to show them on the TVs of the business I have. That way, while
people are shopping, we can remind them that it is possible to have a
better life. Thank you for what you are doing and for the opportunity
to practice what your messages teach.
Tomas Zapata, Mexico
I have seen your spots on CNN and, in all honesty,
I have been pleasantly surprised at your work. It seems the only thing
you are trying to do is to return us to our original values and
provide a healthy coexistence between everyone that lives on this
planet. We need this right now, good timing.
Positive Stanley. Nigeria
I saw your advertisements about a better life for
all on CNN and they are quite inspiring. The positive message they
carry makes me now believe in myself that I can be better and always
aspire for the BEST and inspire every-body that comes my way with the
investment of my personality.
Glorya, USA
I love this site - many a times, I received the
right message at the right emotional moment. Keep up the good work.
We, meaning society and myself, need more of this good stuff. Thank
you!
Tara, Seattle, Washington
This is so touching. This site is amazing and
I’m so glad I found it. I put a link on my MySpace! Peace and
Unity!
Daniel, USA
Your Message is being heard. Thank you for your
commitment to being there at just the right moment when we need you
most.
Radio y TV Eben-Ezer, Peru
I saw your spots on CNN and before I even started
writing to you, I read through your website very closely. I understand
the work you are doing and want to give you my sincere
congratulations. Now, more than ever before, we need to bring back
good values. As part of that mission, we would like to help broadcast
your spots on our TV network here in Peru, without charge. We believe,
like you, that this world would be awful without values and we want to
help you get your message out there.
Don P., Anderson, Indiana
Thank You FBL Foundation! These Billboards
represent the best in all of us-Thanks for the inspiration!
Chris S., Chicago, IL
I am from Chicago and saw your Persistence
billboard on the highway to Indiana. I had tears in my eyes when I saw
it. Excellent work, keep it up please.
Jeremy C., Appleton, WI
The Dalai Lama has touched my heart. This
billboard is an affirmation of how and think and feel...and hopefully
live.
Derek T., Lafayette, CO
I love this Hope You Dance commercial! With
all the hate, anger, and negativity we hear of in the world it is
wonderful to be reminded by this organization that the good things far
out-weigh the bad—keep spreading the message!
Kristine D., Medinah, IL
I just saw The Good Stuff commercial and ran to my
computer to see what this is all about. I’ve been married for a
little over a month and am that marriage is tough work. My husband and
I have been through a lot both before and after the wedding, but
we’ve also been through many more happy, wonderful times and we
love each other very dearly. This message you are putting out there
with remembering "The Good Stuff" is a huge blessing to
society and thank you for putting it out there for us all to see. A
lot of times we lose track and forget about the good times and focus
on the bad. We should all focus on the good times to make life a
little bit better. I PROMISE to pass it on!!
Abhinav, India
I’m inspired by your story. Thank you,
Brooke Ellison, for opening my eyes and making me realize that nothing
is impossible if you are seriously committed to it.
Erbyne Ebo, Ghana
I’m really touched by this story on your
website called A Small Gift. I hope to read more similar ones. May you
be richly blessed.
El Paso, Texas
This is absolutely wonderful, positive people
encouraging others to do likewise and it is indeed contagious as well
as infectious. Thanks for passing it On.
Karen J., USA
I looked you guys up after seeing your
determination billboard. Perhaps you only know a fraction of the true
impact you have on America through your campaign. Love and good
virtues are so much more powrful than hate and evil and the notion to
simply publish such stories in action is powerful. You are changing
peoples lives!
Baltimore, MD
Saw your print ad (the Mechanic) in the Baltimore
Examiner today—Excellent. This on a day I was on the edge,
again. I wonder why no one seems to get frustrated like I do when they
see the obvious mis-direction our nation has gone...Thanks for an ad
that made me instantly say, “Thanks for reminding us the right
way to live life.”
R.C. Charlotte, NC
I was recently laid off from my job. I was feeling
a little down about my circumstances. Then I came across your Overcome
billboard of Marlon in Charlotte, NC. I immediately found this website
and downloaded the picture in my phone. It is now the screen saver on
my cell phone. Everyday I look at it and it gives me hope. This
billboard touched me because it let me know that I could choose to be
sad and depressed OR I could choose get up and take back my life. I
know that I shall OVERCOME.
J. Hidalgo, Miami, FL
I just saw your spot about R-E-S-P-E-C-T where the
young man offers his seat on the bus to an older woman. I was thrilled
to find that this spot was really about the message and not an
advertisement for car insurance or wireless service. In a world driven
by capitalism and where good deeds are tied to which products or
services you consume, your media spots are a breath of fresh air.
Thank you.
Jean S. Marysville, MI
I am so pleased that this Whoopi Goldberg
billboard has been created. My 10 year old daughter has dyslexia and
often feels all alone, I’m glad she can see have tangible
evidence of successes.
Griselda S., Colorado
I love your commercials! I am showing them to kids
and talking about their power to be a good influence/role model even
when it might not be cool.
Teresa, Michigan
I am a high school social worker. I just received
the DVD with the ads on them and I loved them. I made my whole family
watch all of them. I am going to incorporate one ad per week on our
high school video announcements and will have each of our 950 students
write and discuss the value depicted in the video. Thanks for all that
you do. We had a suicide in our school last year and I want to start
out our school year on a positive note with these ads. I can’t
wait to get the posters.
Jorge, Guatemala
I want to thank you for the spots you sent our
company. They have served us well including all the other people with
whom we have shared these messages. Thank you for your excellent work,
it is the best I have ever seen and I know I’m not the only one
who thinks that. Thank you!
Katie, USA
I saw one of your commercials and it inspired
me...I’m not sure how a commercial was able to make me want to
do more but it did. I saw my mom stressed out and I decided to make
dinner and do the dishes for our family. I just needed to be reminded
how good it feels to make another person happy and help them out, and
your commercial did that. I think that says a lot coming from a 15
year old. Your commercial didn't want to sell me anything or try
to persuade me, it simply showed the results of being a kind person
without the cheesy, intimidating actors telling you. Because of that,
I listened. Thank you!
A. Shofis, Latin America
I wanted to thank you for your valuable
commercials that are on TV. Really, I love them so much because they
serve to instruct humanity. Sometimes it’s hard for people to
think positively after something bad has happened to them, but
messages like yours effectively teach the values of life that we
should have. In this manner we will all become better people and be
able to teach our children the importance of good values. I wish you
much success and great blessings.
Kathy, New York City, USA
Hi, thanks so much for the posters! I am a
probation officer in NYC and these have been a great addition to our
front lobby and hallway. I have had several people ask about them, and
have discussed a couple of your posters with my offenders. They are a
great inspiration, especially here!
Victor Nieva, Mexico
Thanks for your excellent commitment to broadcast
what life is really about.
Linda, USA
I am a single, professional woman, who has a 5
year old child with autism, a genetic disorder and multiple medical
challenges. I was stopped in my tracks when I pulled out the parking
lot at my workplace in Connecticut and came face to face with your
billboard of the dad who has run in 65 marathons with his son in the
wheelchair. That is the parent I aspire to be!!! Thank you for the
inspiration!!!
Fredy Martinez, El Salvador (10th grade student)
I wanted to thank you for your very emotional
videos and your grandiose efforts on behalf of other people. You
have done excellent work and I hope you continue to do it. These spots
have really made an impact on me. Thank you for remembering our small
country as well as people in all the other countries who see your
spots. I will try harder to put each of these values in practice.
Thanks.

I can’t begin to tell you the feeling that I
got when I just saw your T.V. spot about respect with the young man
and older lady on the bus. I would love to see much more of these
spots and of course more frequently on television. Maybe then, as time
passes, people would start to carry a stronger sense of values again.
Keep up the good work!!
Your site just reminded me again that all people
smile in the same language.
I am really, really impressed with your Foundation
and your work, and believe it or not, I’ve got a great change in
myself after a 30 minute visit of your website. Thanks, you made my
life really better.
I just wanted to say, I am a 13 year old watching
Nick at Night and SERIOUSLY every time one of your commercials comes
on I choke up and sometimes a tear even sneaks out. GREAT job and keep
up the good work! My favorite is the canned goods one for the homeless
shelter and the one where the old guy gives up the taxi cab for the
family.
A friend of mine gave me the link and from there I
went to your website. Very interesting and inspiring—more so
than any other thing. Abraham Lincoln has ever been my hero and from
him I have learned that through persistence one can achieve whatever
he desires.
This is a rocket boost of inspiration. Stories
like these will move any person. Thank you.
Thank you so much for our latest “pass it
on” posters. The peace-builder group placed them around the
school. Then they researched the people on the posters. Each morning
after announcements, they talk over the intercom asking if the
students noticed the posters and then they proceed to tell about the
people on them. The students are excited to learn about each one. So
thank you for sharing your posters, they are great.
What a marvelous foundation! I have seen your
commercials and I have started to promote them among my University
students. I am convinced that this world needs everyday heroes with a
standard of responsibility, humility, love, warmth, and strength. I am
a mother and I am worried that my kids are living in a world without
virtues. For that reason, I have made a commitment to do something
about it. I want you to know that from this moment on, I am part of
your great movement to promote good values!
I want to express to you my thanks for the opportunity I
have had to see your spots. From my point of view, these spots
are so important. In society, our values are slowly losing their
importance and I think what you are doing is indeed building a better
life for all of us. Thank you for your valuable
efforts.
I
don't normally write to people I don't know. But I just had to let you
know what your newsletter did for me. I was having such a bad
day. My son is gone this weekend with my ex-husband, I just got a
$3,000 bill that as a single mom seems so huge and I am trying to find
out how Santa is going to make it a good Christmas. Yesterday
was so awful. I have been really upset since yesterday. While
reading my email I came across your newsletter in my mailbox. I
read and then went to my favorite places - your commercials. They made
me laugh and feel so much better. The problems are still there
but they don't seem as terribly bad. Thank you for your foundation and
your newsletter. You may not realize it but you touch so many
lives.
I am
not sure that I know the right words or direction for how I
feel. I am so moved and feel an unwavering passion inside me by
your ads. How lucky you are to be a part of something so
amazing. What an unbelievable inspiration you are to this
world. It is a culture that will catch on with pushes in the
right places.
I love all of your billboards!!!! Whenever I read any of
the billboards they encourage me to be a better person and to be the
best I can be!!
Thanks for your positive, uplifting messages. I
hope you continue - the world needs more of this. God
bless.
Dear Friends. Truly, this foundation is very
interesting. I have loved the positive stories about life that
are found on your website so much. I have also seen your TV
spots which help us remember how beautiful the world can be when we
live as brothers.
Thank you for what you are doing. One can lose faith in
what we are, but your organization appears to be giving the strength
back. What can we do to give more?
The messages this foundation stands behind are just what
the people of the world need to hear. I am so driven by the things
that I have seen both through the FBL's television spots and on its
web site. I have been searching for an organization to get involved
with that caught my attention. Thank you and keep on spreading
the peace!!! :)
As
a 27 year old male, I have really stated thinking about what my
actions do to others. Thank you for showing me that there are people
out there that care. Keep up the great TV commercials—I think it helps
get the idea across.
I just returned home from a trip to Denver through the
Denver International Airport. I was thrilled to see your
posters/billboards EVERYWHERE in the airport! Great job to DIA
for spreading your positive messages!
Now and then a family member or friend (or me) needs a
boost and I always end up coming here and passing something on....I
first saw your billboards after 9/11 and it was wonderful.
Thanks so much for you and what you do...
I was searching for good news on the internet this
evening and happened upon this website. I am in awe of this
organization and just feel like I need to say thank
you!
This is an awesome
program. Keep up the good work. I would love to see more
"good news!” I work as a child psychologist and will be giving
your site as "homework" for my parents and kids.
Thanks!
I never respond to emails that are forwarded to me but
when a friend of mine sent me this tonight I had to send this to
someone and say how touched I was by the video clips. In today’s
society where everything on TV is about sex or violence or something
inappropriate to watch with your kids, it is so refreshing to see
this. I watched all the clips and some of them actually brought
tears to my eyes. Please keep this going. If it makes a
difference in just one person’s life it’s been well worth it. I
know it’s made an impact on mine.
Every time I see your commercials for compassion or
respect, I feel that little acts like that can make a big difference.
For me it is really inspirational, and I have shared this website with
many of my friends. I just want to say thanks for starting The
Foundation for A Better Life. Like I said, your commercials and your
website are an inspiration to me and many other people.
Thank you so much for your public
service announcements and billboards. I really enjoy them;
especially the billboard that says "Live your dreams. Pass it
on." It gave me a little extra motivation to go chasing
after a few things like a few more months of piano lessons, going out
west for a weekend to climb to the top of a rocky mountain, and
inviting people over for dinners more often. Thank you for helping to
brighten a few months of my life. I'll continue to "Pass it
on" and several of the other values you are reminding people
of.
First off thanks a ton for the posters! They just
came today and the students are already commenting on how
"cool" they are. A lot of the students were surprised
by many of the posters. Especially the Edison one - which
sparked the opportunity to do a little teaching on if you fail
keep trying! The teachers were fighting over which poster
they wanted—thanks again! They really add a
positive outlook to our school!
I received the posters this week. Thank you
very much. When they were posted around the school the high
school students really liked them! Specifically, I know that one
teacher was discussing with students about the surfer attacked by a
shark and yet continuing to surf. Some other students commented
on the blind hiker and the challenges that he must have had to
accomplish that feat. A few liked the 'fun' word play of the
Shrek poster. They are wonderful additions to our school and I
sincerely thank you.
Thank You very much! The inspirational messages
that you provide always bring a smile and sometimes a happy tear to my
eye and I will..."Pass it On." Keep up the great
work!
Thank you for the existence of FBL. It's a
reminder to myself to live a better life, with a better life being
extending to others. You have given me hope for the New
Year.
I want to thank you for the stories. I constantly share
the website with my friends and I always find something that I can
print out to give to someone to keep them believing in a better
life. I end my day reading stories to just remind me how great
life is. Thank you keep up the great work.
Thank you for such a touching experience. I saw
one of your ads on Fox News and decided to check out your web
site. What I read and viewed surprised me. I am a 35 year
old man and after finishing reading about your foundation and viewing
the TV spots, I sat on my couch and bawled my eyes out. You have
touched something in my heart I thought was gone and I greatly
appreciate it. I had lost hope for this world many years ago and
you have helped me regain a little of that hope. My wish is that
you continue to touch as many people in this country as you have with
me. May all the best come to your staff and volunteers, as you
clearly deserve it.
I love your newsletter! Keep it up! I'd like to
contribute something but I read that you don't accept donations. Well
then the least I can do is to pass it on, which I will.
I wanted to comment to you that we see your stupendous
spots on TV here in our country. Truthfully, they are
spectacular and every one seems to be better than the last. I
wanted to congratulate you on what you are doing. Please keep
showing the world that we can unite to have a better life.
I have a very bright 10 year old son.
He doesn't own any video games and would rather be outdoors than
in. He doesn't have a lot of friends, but values the friendship
in every kid he plays with. He hates taking showers, but says
his prayers every night with us, and goes to church every
Sunday. I look at him with wonder and wish there was a magic
spell to hold him like this for the rest of his life. Of course,
this will all change very quicklyRecently, we were watching TV
together and saw the ad titled "reach." I loved the double
meaning-- thinking they would try to steal the beer, but then seeing
them do a good deed instead. How refreshing! My son turned
to me, and said "I love this commercial! See," he
said, "they saw that the soda was falling out of the truck and
they got the door shut before it did! That is so COOL!" OK,
he won't always see the world so simply-- but in his mind, those guys
are nothing but heroes. Cool, regular guy, heroes. Thank
you so much for giving our boys something to grasp. He also
loved the school commercial that shows the popular football player
helping out the guy who got picked on. The world is full of many
messages for our children and I applaud the effort it took to provide
a message that says it's ok to be a hero. Keep it up, it's
working!
Greetings—I know little of your organization. I do know,
however, that on more than one occasion I have seen an ideally placed
billboard--a message that I needed to hear was there conveyed at the
precise time it was needed most. I suspect that I am not alone in
being the recipient of your most timely gifts of wisdom,
encouragement, insight and understanding. My genuine and
heartfelt thanks. Please continue.
I don't ever remember seeing/hearing your ads
before Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. However, since the
Hurricane, I've seen the Truck Stop and possibly another one, &
want you to know how much I enjoy seeing something positive...which is
totally unlike what we normally see/hear here in N.O.
What a
refreshing & needed change. Thank you for running your ads
on our stations. Please keep up the good work!
I don't know how long you've been in the business of
this foundation for better living, but I think it is great. I
saw your "Cafeteria" commercial and shared the wisdom
of it (along with a link to your website) with my email group.
Definitely a positive change I hope will effectively change the lives
of those in our society. Through a strange series of events, I
have stumbled on this website and I LOVE it! I live in Scotland
and am currently studying Community Education at Strathclyde
University in Glasgow and I think your billboards are SO inspiring, so
much of my course is about the empowerment of people and helping them
to realise and achieve their dreams. I am going to be proud to
use the work you do here as examples in my classes and in the essays
and presentations I do. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for having something so wonderful and goes
thru so much! I can't believe that I spent my time at your site.
Cheers and all the best wishes for the website. Wish you great
success.
I've seen your spots in theaters and have recently seen
your posters around NYC. Today I went on your website for the first
time and explored your Foundation. I can only say thank you.
Thank you for all of your hard work and sacrifice to encourage such
goodness in the world.
I was driving through Illinois and saw your
"fly a kite" billboard. I was compelled to check the website
and must say that the TV spots brought tears to my eyes. They
were so heartfelt. And then there were others that just made me
feel so good about myself for doing little things like holding the
door open for other patrons. I viewed every TV spot and every
billboard. They were all touching. Thanks for what you're
doing.
I received the posters and the students are
thrilled. I barely had them out of the box and they were asking
where we were going to hang them. It's interesting how the kids
immediately chose the one they liked the best (identified with).
The surfer was certainly a favorite. I plan to hang one in my room and
give one to the science teacher on my team. The others I will
display in the hall. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for the posters. I put them up in the
8th grade hallway. The students love them, and so do the
teachers! A couple of the students were asking about the
"Vision" poster. They were asking if the guy on it was
really blind. They didn't think it was possible for someone to
do such a thing. This led into a wonderful discussion about
visions, goals, self esteem, and perseverance. It is amazing how
posters on the walls are working as fabulous discussion
starters. The kids like them all, but they say that they can
really identify with the Edison poster. I put it beside the
science teacher's door. Fitting, don't you think? I really
do appreciate you sending the posters to our school.
I'm sure you receive many thank you's, and mine is
nothing special, but your site is an integral part of our lives,
either using it to help raise our teenage grandson or helping fellow
cancer survivors like me find joy in everyday beauty and caring.
Many thanks, and I will continue to pass it on....
As a single mother in a crazy world it is so refreshing
to be able to show and share this website with my teenage son. I find
him reading article after article, it is so nice to have somewhere to
go to read good news about good people. Bless you. Thank
you.
I recently visited your website and I fell in love! I
think this organization is a wonderful way to reach out to people and
it is designed beautifully. It is like watching a great film... I
didn't want to it to end. Thank you!
I have had the opportunity to instruct several
youth groups since receiving the DVD. Thank you. One of the
youth groups that I showed a few selected TV clips were touched enough
that there were tears in their eyes. Another group that was strictly
boys, were so impressed that they were pleading with me to show them
all. I think it has impact because I reinforce "the message"
verbally whenever I see the youth. Thanks again for the DVD and
for your great organization.
I want to thank you for your stories that are full
of value, that help us in our lives. They allow us to remember
the important things in life: love for others, service, and hope
in the middle of so much bad in the world. Keep up the great
work.
Please receive a warm greeting for the great help you
have been in sending us the DVD of your TV spots. We use your
DVD to help motivate the kids in our school as well as their
parents. When we plant seeds of peace, we grow fruits of
love. We are teaching families how to resolve conflict,
communities how to help each other, and your spots will be so useful
with all we are doing. Again, thank you so much.
I wanted to greet you and wish you much more success in
what you are doing. I have seen all your spots on TV and I think
they are extraordinary. They teach us and remind us of the
values we desperately need in Latin America, especially now as we live
in moments of crisis. Just as the saying goes, “Only with the
heart can you see well, what’s most important is invisible to the
eyes.” For this reason I think your Foundation has more than
just a special strength, you have imagination, fantasy and you also
have the key to a marvelous language: the language of
communication.
I was so happy to find your website that promotes
positive values, which, more than anything are fading away these
days. I have also seen your spots on CNN and they lift my
spirits and give me the desire to be better every day. Thank you
so much.
I just want to thank you for your praiseworthy efforts
to broadcast messages that make us better human beings. The
values you promote are not even mentioned in this generation, but we
need them more than ever before. Thank you.
Hello. It is such a pleasure for me to see your
spots. Without a doubt they have been the source of many
comments and conversations within my family. To look at your
website reaffirms my appreciation for your selfless group. With
gratitude, Isabel.
Hello and thank you, my dear friends, for your beautiful
work in favor of human values that are being lost every day.
Your commercials have changed my perspective on things and now I
understand much better that there is so much more to do in this
world. I hope to have the same determination you do to carry out
this great work. Keep it up!
Your spots help us realize that we are not alone in this
World. Thank you for what you are doing.
I am really surprised at the human quality of your
work. I have seen your commercials on TV and I am always amazed
at the great results you get by teaching us about the small
details. We live in a world that needs role models and examples
to follow, thank you for bringing those to life.
Thank you for the e-mails, the posters, the billboards,
and all you do for mankind. I am a teacher retiring this year and I
have used your materials. It is so nice to drive down the road and see
positive messages everywhere. We especially used Bethany
Hamilton with our sixth grade this year as the class role model. We
have her name, her posters, and her books in our classrooms and
hallway here at Jasper Middle School. Thanks!!!!
I have been meaning to look up your web site for years
now and finally did today. Thank you for the work you do!
We see so much negative everywhere; it is so refreshing to see
something positive!
Thank you for sharing the inspirational billboards with
us. We live in a time where it's very easy to become overwhelmed
with depressing & demoralizing news. Seeing your terrific ad
campaign helps make life a lot more tolerable.
Thanks.
I think the posters you donated to the school are
great! They are inspirational for the kids (as well as staff and
parents) and get the kids to think about life. The messages in
the posters help the kids see that they can do anything they set their
minds to. Thanks for finding them and in turn helping our school
to motivate the kids to be all they can be.
Thank you so much for your generous donation. The
posters tied in wonderfully with our unit on KEEP TRYING. For
the introduction, I took my first grade class for a walk around the
school to look at each of the posters. We later discussed each
one and how each of the people had tried hard to overcome
something. We compared the posters with characters in the
stories we read, and some students even chose to write about
them. The posters were a great connection to the students'
learning. Thanks again.
Thank you for all your work in getting the inspiring
posters around the schools in our community. The kids are
talking about them. One of my daughters even quoted the surfer
girl that lost her arm to a shark attack "Me Quit?
Never!" It was a great moment to hear my child say that and
make the connection. You can give 1st graders all the
encouragement in the world but for them to see a person that has
overcome obstacles - that registers and makes an impact on their
lives. Keep adding to the Art and helping the kids shine.
The posters arrived and the initial responses of the
teachers have been wonderful. The photography and subjects are
so thought provoking. They require students to stop and consider what
they are seeing and to think about the content. These posters
really catch the attention of students. We have one posted above our
water fountain...it is causing a roadblock!! Bravo!!! Thanks for
offering free items.
Thank you, thank you, thank you
for your messages that I've recently seen on television, a movie
theater, and in a magazine. We need more organizations like yours. You
ARE having an impact. Please keep up the great work.
I
think the work you do is incredible. I saw one of your posters in the
Dallas/Fort Worth airport. I have seen your TV ads such as the biker
at the phone booth who is grateful, but did not realize it was your
organization associated with it. I believe in your mission statement.
Your efforts have inspired me and I thank you.
When I saw the Including Others segments of the FBL
series on Armed Forces Network TV today, I just had to write and tell
you. What a great reminder, even across the ocean in
Korea! I used those video segments so much last school year, and
heard that familiar music so often, that each of those songs and story
settings impressed on my consciousness permanently. That’s a
good thing!
Hi, my name is Andrew from Garden
Grove/Anaheim, CA and just wanted to say how awesome and inspiring
your commercials and everything you do are. Being a high school
leader on campus you sometimes lose track of what values really are
and the little things you do to really show your values. Thank
you again and by the way, I'm passing it on.
In my mature years I have noted a tendency to become
cynical and skeptical. Your spots on TV are so uplifting and
hopeful that I had to thank you. I hope and am willing to
believe that you are as you present yourselves to be. Thank
you.
A friend of mine forwarded me the link to your web site
and I just thought I would let you know how great it is.
Thanks! I have sent it to everyone in my address book.
Thanks again for a great site!
I just saw your “Respect” commercial. Wow! I
am not easily impressed, but I was. We need to see more of this.
People have become so caught up in me, me, me to care about
others. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for being! I have often wondered how to
make a "good news" and positive medium - I am so grateful
that you have found the ways. Thank you for your vision, courage,
follow through, and everything in between!!!! Thank you for
BEING, and thank you for the millions and millions you have and will
touch - whether consciously or unconsciously - as it makes a huge
change.
Good Morning! I flipped on TV this morning and one of
your commercials came on. I was so impressed by what I saw I had
to come check out your website. I think this foundation is doing a
wonderful thing. As a teacher, I see how much my students could
really benefit from values education. Thank you for making the world a
better place.
Hi, let me just say, I really love your commercials.
They always remind me of what's really important in life. In a world
that says that material things are the most important thing, your
commercials remind me that people and values are what's really
important. Thank you SO much for helping me remember that.
I
love this website. It’s so inspiring, and just a good message to send
out to people. I saw this on T.V. and I was like “oh, maybe I should
check it out.” And I’ve looked at everything and its awesome. I’m 16
and I think that this site should be checked out by all teenagers…
maybe it could/will teach them some lessons. It’s a great web site
keep it up!
Hi, my name is Ali from Pakistan. I have seen your site.
I just want to tell you that you have been doing the great job that
must be appreciated by every one. I really liked this site.
Hello, just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your
billboards. I'm a truck driver so I see a lot of them across the
country. I think they are a great idea. I just hope people are taking
them to heart.
The first PSA aired on our
in-house broadcast on Monday and the video kids were excited about
including it. Not sure how much conversation it generated in
other Advisories, but in the one I have it generated some interesting
discussion. One student immediately identified with the bullies
and referred to it as the "good ol' days." Others
immediately came back with how that was an awful thing to say and the
conversation was off and running for the remainder of the
period. I really appreciate the posters and have one of them in
the hall outside my door. I plan on using them later in the
quarter. Teachers are already noticing them and coming up with
schemes to deprive me of them for use in their classrooms.
The students at Lomond View have
seen the new posters and recognize them immediately from the
billboards. They all have their favorites, but I think Kermit
the frog wins hands down. The posters have already been used to
accompany two book talks--one about what it takes to be in the
Olympics (Michelle Kwan), and one about Kermit and how dreams are
important even in elementary school. Teachers have already
requested that they be allowed to borrow a couple for character ed.
lessons, and the 5th grade is eager to borrow the Abraham Lincoln one
when they get to that time in history.
I am a business owner in Denver
and have seen your billboards in our airport here during my frequent
travels. You should see the positive effect they have on the
many travelers that pass through the airport. I plan to use your
ideas in helping both my employees and my clients to be better people
and organizations; would like to better explain how FBL was founded in
the process. Thanks for making a difference!”
I just want to say to you that I
think your billboards and commercials are wonderful. My husband
and I were wondering who was sponsoring the billboards and I saw your
commercial on BYU Television tonight. So I went to your
website. I love your website and your mission. Thank
you.
Let me thank you for your messages, they are fabulous
and very assertive. When I first started to see them, I thought
they were interesting because I have never seen this type of message
before. Then I started to get accustomed to them and thought,
"how great that values still exist today and there are people
willing to broadcast them." I thank you from the bottom of
my heart.
Really, it is so great what you are doing. You
have such a good focus. I am a radio producer in Panama and I
firmly believe in the importance of values. I don’t have
children, but I am always wondering what will become of them with the
world the way that it is. Thank goodness we have you.
Thanks for your wonderful website. I stumbled
across it this morning looking for something else. Your website
brought big smile to my face, and has surely changed the direction of
my day for the better. I'll be back!
Thank you.
Hello. My name is Kin and I am from Costa
Rica. I have always believed that the human race is destroying
itself, but every once in a while, I see things that make me think
that all is not lost, that we can make a difference. Today I saw
your “Old Friends” spot on TV in my country. I really felt like
I was going to cry because I realized that there are people like me
that exist. People that want to see positive changes in the
world and show the opposite of what we normally see on TV (war, hate,
fear, etc.). I want to thank you for showing me that all is not
lost, that if one wants to make a difference, he can. Thank you
for your great efforts to reach our minds and hearts and to achieve,
little by little, a change in the attitude toward our neighbors and
our brothers in every part of the world. Thank you.
Greetings from Guatemala. We received the DVD you
sent us and we are already introducing it to our country. Our
First Lady of Guatemala is interested in promoting the theme of unity
during this Christmas season and we thought your messages would be a
great fit. Thank you for helping our cause of promoting
values.
Hello friends. What you are
doing is really noble. Congratulations. In passing, I saw
one of your spots on TV and it really left a big impact on me. I
have realized that as human beings we are losing are values and I
really wanted to thank you for what you are doing.
Hello. My name is Arturo and I am from Lima,
Peru. I saw one of your commercials that fascinated me. I
am so grateful that in these current times, there is a motivation to
promote positive values. I hope to share a link to your site on
my personal web page so all of my friends can look at your site and be
as edified as I have been. Thank you for helping our
nation grow in peace and unity. May God bless you.
Hello! I'm
sending all of you a big hello from Queretaro, Mexico, to congratulate
you. I have had the great opportunity to follow your Foundation
through your TV spots and also through the internet. It's really
extraordinary!! I want to also congratulate you for your valiant
labor because today, it's so important to rescue the values you
emphasize, since sadly, society is slowly losing them. Thank
you.
Friends, this is the first time visiting your web
site. I am 32 years old and writing you from Venezuela. I
see your TV spots on CNN Spanish and I wanted to thank you for your
contribution to humanity.
Hello. My name is Nicolas and I live in
Montevideo Uruguay. I really think the TV spots from your
organization are excellent--they give me goose bumps every time I see
them. I would love to be part of this organization however I can
because I believe you are beginning to change things. Thank
you.
Simply, I want to congratulate you!!!! Keep it
up!! If I can help with anything, please let me know.
I want to thank you for having such beautiful messages
for the world. Really, every time I see your spots, they always
make me cry. Thanks for these messages that help us have a
better life.
Hello. This message is to simply tell you that I
have seen your spots on CNN in Spanish and they always move me so
much. I am happy that every one of them seems to help to do
their part in uniting the world. Thank you.
School has been in session for three weeks now,
and I wanted to let you know how much positive attention the posters
have attracted. I have to say that the Kermit poster is
definitely the kids' favorite--yes, even in high school. Super
Man Christopher Reeve has also sparked a lot of positive
comments. Thank you for the posters and for all the great work
your organization does. Best wishes for continued
success.
These televisions ads have touched my heart and I am
passing it on. Thank you.
